Robert helped me pick an orange frame and blue matting, with orange core, that made the poster “pop”. Included in this post are a high resolution scan of the poster, an acrylic Mouse reproduction on canvas, and a picture of the Roky Erickson signature on my poster in the frame. The acrylic reproduction is from the Chet Helms’ Collection. In the Seventies, Chet, the Family Dog guy, began promoting concerts at the Maritime Academy in San Francisco. Chet had several of the poster artists reproduce enlargements of some of their most well known posters on canvas to hang in the hall as decorations. When the Maritime Academy venture went bust my friend bought this item from Chet right off the all as he was locking up. He paid $100.00 for it and it’s worth $3,000.00 to sky is the limit today.
